At the end of the day on January 25, the WBBL season will be completed for everyone except for 17's, JV GO, and HS GO teams.
For anyone that wants to continue their season further, the WBBL will be holding City Tournament evaluations on Sunday, January 26 at Bearden Middle School. ** Please note: the City Tournament is NOT run by the WBBL.**
The City Tournament is for players in the following divisions:
Boys
- INST: 7-8 year old
- TR: 9-10 year old
- JV: 11-12 year old
- VAR: 13-14 year old
Girls
- INST GO: 7-8 year old
- TR GO: 9-10 year old
There is NOT a City Tournament for PNT, JV GO (girls), HS GO (girls), or 17s (boys).
Full Teams:
Eligible WBBL teams are welcome to enter as a full team. Those COMPLETE teams will not need to attend an evaluation. Instead, those teams will need to inform Robert at 865.258.3786. If the majority of your team would like to go to the City Tournament, but needs a couple of players, please contact Robert and we will place players from our evaluations onto those teams.
Individual Players:
Individual players are invited to attend the City Tournament evaluations this Sunday. Players do not have to be an "all-star" to participate; however, they must have played in the 2019-2020 WBBL Rec Season.
Coaches:
Anyone interested in being a coach- even if you did not coach during the WBBL season- should contact Robert at 865.258.3786. We know for sure that we will need a few more coaches in order to put everyone on a team. Many of the regular season coaches are ready for a break.
This is a month long commitment and a great way to get your foot in the door to coach youth basketball.
